SITUATION:

Swap “Yes, but” for “Yes, AND…”
“Yes, and we could also test it with a smaller team first.”

5 - THOUGHTFUL QUESTIONS:

SITUATION:
You: "How's work?"
Them: "Fine."

Conversation dead on arrival. Opportunity to connect? Gone!

DO THIS INSTEAD:
"What's the best thing that happened at work this week?"

Watch how they actually want to answer.

6 - LET THEM SPEAK

SITUATION:

DO THIS INSTEAD:
Share one point.
